The Opportunity- Pedalheads Camp Managers are responsible for managing all activities at their respective camps You don't have to be a bike expert because we provide training for our programs for you to get going in your new role
WORK DATES:
  • Camp starts July 2nd with end date ranging from mid to the end of August 2024

WAGE:

  • $ 740
  • $ 960 per week

What you'd be responsible for
In addition to sharing your ideas on how we can grow, learn and build, in this role, you'll also be:

Program Management - Ensure that program delivery and safety standards are maintained, and that every participant has a positive and rewarding experience at Pedalheads. This will require lots of hands-on involvement teaching the kids. test

Training - **Train new Bike Instructors on pre-scheduled training dates: Attend Train-the-Trainer June 1st (full day), Train Instructors at a minimum of one New Bike Training, on a Saturday or Sunday between June 15th and July 6th (full day), Training schedule will be provided by Programs and Training in advance of training dates.

Human Resources/Employee Relations:

  • Manage Camp Supervisors, Instructors, and Volunteers, mentoring and motivating your team

Customer Service - Be willing to go the extra mile to engage customers and provide excellent customer service.

Administration:

  • Assist with oncamp registration and processing payments for product sales.

Operations - Manage equipment and supplies for your camp.
Skills, knowledge and experience
Here are some of the skills/ specifics and experience that are important for this role:

  • We are looking for people with experience managing, coaching, or supervising youths ages 13 through 24, preferably in a camp or sport environment.
  • They will be dynamic leaders who bring out the best in their teams through mentorship, motivation, and handson leadership.
  • Hold or willing to get a current Standard First Aid with CPR-C certificate
  • Criminal record check required for ages 18+
  • You have access to a bike and helmet and are able to ride a bike proficiently.
