Position Summary


Working under the direction of the Operational Manager, the
Supervisor of General Radiography & CT (GR/CT), will oversee our team of professionals to optimize aspects of modality operations and ensure effective and efficient operations.


Duties

  • Manage, organizes assign, and distribute workload among staff to ensure the department operates in a manner that is safe, efficient and responsive to volumes and outcomes
  • Implement methods to ensure optimum imaging quality and quantity of exams to support patient care
  • Leads, coaches and mentors staff to foster a positive atmosphere that supports team building, collaboration and educational strategies to enhance staff knowledge
  • Ensures efficient and consistent service delivery including effective utilization of resources (e.g., staffing and equipment)
  • Perform crossfunctional and other responsibilities as assigned and/or required

Qualifications

  • Completion of a recognized medical imaging entry to practice program (i.e., Radiography, Nuclear Medicine, Magnetic Resonance, Sonography) required
  • Completion of CAMRT certification exam
  • Completion or currently working towards a Master's degree in a relevant program
  • Completion of a Basic Cardiac Life Support (B.C.L.S.) program for health care providers required
  • Registration with CMRITO
