The Client Acquisition team within Sun Life's Client Experience Office has embarked on a major transformation.

As part of this transformation, we are continuously launching and testing new ideas, platforms, and solutions to generate new leads and identify opportunities for existing clients and group members.

As a key member of the Program Strategy and Optimization team, you'll be responsible for supporting
_Sun Life's Head Office Leads Program (The Program)_ &
_strategic growth initiatives_ including the development of business cases, tracking the realization of benefits, and monitoring of our key performance indicators.

The Program is dedicated to connecting Clients and prospects seeking financial advice to our distribution network of Retail Advice and Solutions advisors.

This role requires a strong strategic thinker with excellent data analysis skills and a passion for solving business problems.

You will be depended on to provide recommendations based on the performance of our programs and campaigns, measure ROI, and provide insights to the leadership team.

Your mandate will be to use insights to strategize and test new growth initiatives while digging into results to inform what we do next.

You will articulate what we are doing, how it is performing, and where there are opportunities in a clear and concise manner.


What will you do?

  • In partnership with the analytics, business intelligence and strategy partners you will prepare data insights and reporting packages for senior leadership
  • Translate data into insights, actions, and recommendations, communicating in a concise, honest, and understandable way
  • Assist in the development of business cases and overview of financial models for new strategic initiatives, including investments into marketing technology and campaigns
  • Track the endtoend performance of campaigns including forecasting and financials; identify actions to meet and exceed performance targets
  • Proactively identify new areas for review and highlight findings to senior leadership
  • Brainstorm new solutions and solve for Client and advisor needs, backed by insights from supporting data and analytics
  • Support the Marketing and Sales leaders in enhancing dashboards to measure and track performance
  • Develops and maintains tools and processes to report on team objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)

  • Highly inquisitive/curious, excellent analytical skills with the ability to derive insights, link concepts and opportunities for improvement
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and solid PowerPoint,

  • Superior interpersonal skills, leadership and influencing capabilities to effectively manage relationships across the organization

  • Strong presentation and written communication skills with significant exposure to senior management
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups or activities. Effective judgment in prioritizing and time allocation

What will be nice to have?

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in strategy development, client experience or business growth functions
  • Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. MBA or CPA are highly desirable qualifications in this role.
  • Expertise in visual analytics and design principles
  • Experience in life insurance/wealth management, or other financial services industry (e.g., retail banking, credit card, property and casualty insurance) and digital marketing (e.g., SEM optimization)
