Field Operations Assistants

Macdonald Campus of McGill University

Position Summary:
Work based out of EcoCenter in Kanesatake. Visit multiple sites per day, and collect water, soil, and plants according to scientific protocols. Need to coordinate with community members to gain access to property. Need to inventory samples at Kanesatake and at McGill's Macdonald Campus.

Schedule will be 35 hours/week for 2-3 week periods during 3 periods: May+June, September, November.

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities

High school diploma with mínimal or no experience. Must have a connection with Kanesatake First Nations.

  • McGill University is an Englishlanguage university where most teaching and research activities are conducted in the English language, thereby requiring English communication both verbally and in writing._
