As a Field Engineer/Coordinator in our Montreal office, you will play a vital role in our operations:
Key Responsibilities- Assist in updating technical drawings and specifications.
- Maintain documentation of field records concerning quality, production, labor, and materials.
- Support inventory management and track time sheets, costs, and quantities.
- Prepare quantity takeoffs for project requirements.
- Help monitor the quality assurance plan, including conducting inspections.
- Perform basic safety inspections and training, identify safety hazards, and promote safety practices.
- Support the project team in managing subcontractor relationships, including handling requests for information, shop drawings, changes, and billing.
- Assist in scheduling and performance monitoring.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with all project stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related field.
- 0-1 years of relevant experience as a field coordinator is preferred.
- Ability to learn and apply fundamental construction principles and procedures.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Capability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with a strong willingness to learn new technologies.
