Manager, Compensation Description

Join our team as an experienced Compensation Manager to lead and execute IAMGOLD's rewards strategy that aligns with our organization's strategy to attract and retain top talent.Your role is integral as a client-focused compensation professional, leveraging strong communication and project management skills, along with leadership and expertise in designing, managing, and standardizing global compensation programs. You have experience in incorporating market trends, governance and policies that impact the design and execution of compensation programs.

A snapshot of your responsibilities include:

·Conducting benchmarking, market analysis, job evaluations for approximately 1,500 employees (non-Executive teams) and designing a global job architecture framework (for HRIS integration).

·Performing in-depth analyses, recommending revisions and deploying changes to our broad-based compensation programs (salary, short-term and long-term incentive plans).

·Collaborating with executives to establish performance metrics for our corporate and site-specific short-term incentive plans. Managing the annual equity grant and vesting processes.

·Facilitating informed decision-making and acting as a trusted advisor to senior executives and HR colleagues by providing support and recommendations on all compensation-related matters.

·Designing and supporting the inclusion of materials and data analytics into various executive and board materials.

·Leading the annual compensation cycle, performance pay, and budgeting process involves preparing reports and materials for all stakeholders, developing and delivering tools and guidelines, maintaining the company's salary ranges and grids both nationally and globally, and creating incentive programs or new salary structures as the business evolves.

Qualifications

What You Need to Succeed

To be successful, you have a university degree in Business, Economics, HR, Mathematics, Statistics or related field, along with progressive HR experience and several years of specialization in broad-based compensation design and deployment. A solid knowledge of job evaluation methodologies and compensation design principles is essential. Preference will be given to candidates with Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification.

As an influencer, you play a pivotal role in guiding and shaping stakeholders' decisions to make well-informed decisions by leveraging diverse data sources. Your track record showcases robust analytical skills, strong communication and building relationships skills, all underscored by a commitment to upholding confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information. Proficiency in advanced Excel and PowerPoint is essential, while familiarity with MS Power BI and other visualization software is an asset.
