We are looking for individuals who have a passion for outdoor learning, nature, the arts and working with children

We are looking for staff who would be available for supply. Supply staff often get almost full time hours each week, especially as we head into the summer months. This position is perfect if you are looking for flexibility with school or children.

Reports to centre supervisor

Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality care to children ages 6 months to 5 years
  • Actively engage with children and ensure supervision & safety at all times
  • Plans and implements programming based on centre philosophy and District of Muskoka AQI requirements
  • Complete documentation of learning experiences/observations of the children
  • Complete child care centre app updates (HiMama)
  • Able to lift frequently (up to 50lbs)
  • Willing and able to work outside for at least 2 hours per day year round

Requirements:

  • Over 18 years of age
  • Up to date first aid & CPR "C"
  • Successful Completion of Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Up to date immunizations
*Food Handler's not required but an asset - willing to obtain

Job Types:
Part-time, Casual

Part-time hours: 0-44 per week

Salary:
From $18.50 per hour

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime pay
