About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at The Alexander Muskoka Operations (Gravenhurst) LP. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents in a nursing home setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Meal Preparation and Service: Serve meal trays and assist residents with feeding.
  • Housekeeping and Laundry: Maintain a clean and comfortable environment for residents by making beds, changing linens, and performing light housekeeping duties.
  • Transportation: Safely transport residents between care facilities and within the facility.
  • First Aid and Emergency Response: Administer first aid in emergency situations and respond to call signals to determine residents' needs.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
Work Environment

This is a temporary, part-time position with a variable schedule of 37.5 to 44 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced and requires a high level of attention to detail and ability to work independently.
