**En quoi consiste ce rôle**:

- Superviser, planifier et mener à bien les projets de développement de processus et/ou de produits qui lui sont confiés;
- Mener des activités de recherche et de développement pour créer de nouveaux produits alimentaires ou améliorer les produits existants;
- Procéder à des essais de produits, analyser des échantillons de développement et élaborer les spécifications initiales des produits, en fournissant ou en recherchant des informations (caractéristiques des produits, coûts, mesures, ingrédients, etc.);
- Participer à des essais sensoriels de produits en faisant appel à des panels internes et externes;
- Appliquer les politiques et procédures de R&D de l'entreprise;
- Identifier les nouvelles technologies pertinentes pour l'organisation;
- Identifier et saisir les opportunités de réduction des coûts ou d'optimisation des performances de nos produits et processus;
- Agir en tant que ressource technique auprès des parties prenantes internes et externes;
- Assurer la liaison et la collaboration avec les usines de conversion pour résoudre les problèmes et/ou les plaintes;
- Contribuer à l'analyse des informations pour soutenir le développement de nouveaux produits;
- Veiller au respect des lois et des réglementations en coordination avec le service de la réglementation;
- Autres tâches connexes assignées ou requises.

**Ce qu'il te faut pour joindre notre équipe**:

- Baccalauréat en technologie alimentaire, génie alimentaire ou une formation équivalente;
- Expérience pertinente d'au moins 3 ans en R&D ou en développement de produits dans l'industrie alimentaire, idéalement dans le domaine des produits laitiers;
- Bilinguisme oral et écrit (Anglais et Français) - Communications fréquentes avec des partenaires, clients et/ou employés à l'extérieur du Québec;
- Maîtrise d'Excel et d'autres programmes Microsoft.
