We are seeking a
Property Manager who is reliable, detail-oriented, and hard-working.

You will be tasked with ensuring quality service throughout our rental portfolio while managing day-to-day operations, maintenance, and administrative duties.


Responsibilities Include:

Customer Service/Tenant Relations

  • Manage a portfolio of residential (high and low rise) and commercial properties
  • Maintain property rentals by filling vacancies, preparing, and enforcing leases for prospective tenants
  • Prepare and facilitate contracts with tenants and collect security deposits
  • Collect and record incoming rents, deal with late payments, prepare all necessary reports, and summarize data as necessary
  • Ensure all vacant suites become ready to rent as soon as possible
  • Respectively address all tenant questions and concerns in a timely manner
  • Ability to build strong tenant relationships
  • Keep detailed records of tenant communications and all proposed solutions
  • Supervise building repairs and maintenance work to ensure quality control and work is completed as contracted
  • Terminate leases, initiate eviction proceedings, and serve legal documents as directed by Executive Team
  • Oncall support for afterhour emergencies
  • Promptly respond in a professional manner to all emergencies and document accurately
  • Analyze rental market on a periodic basis and stay on top of trends in the region's rental market
  • Additional duties as assigned by Executive Team

Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience with the Residential Tenancy Act
  • Experience with Yardi property management systems considered an asset
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
