T&T Supermarket Inc. was founded in 1993 with two stores in BC.


Since then, it has expanded rapidly and is now Canada's largest Asian supermarket chain with 31 stores across the country: 13 in BC, 7 in Alberta, 10 in Ontario, and 1 in Quebec.

The Company's continuous expansion is going to bring more new stores in the next couple of years.

The Role:

Major Responsibilities:

  • Renew visas as required and maintain accurate records of visa status
  • Prepare and fill out related forms for CRA (e.g., CPT56) and IRS (e.g., W7, Form 1042S, Form 8233)
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and keep proper employee records according to statutory requirements and company policy
  • Perform various administrative and supporting duties for the team and support the daytoday efficient operation of the HR Department by performing any assigned duties as required

Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements:

  • A college diploma/certificate or undergraduate degree in Business Administration or Human Resources Management is preferred
  • Highly detailoriented, with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels as well as external government offices and 3 rd party vendors
  • Able to handle confidential information professionally and in an ethical manner
  • Demonstrates a high level of integrity and the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong Microsoft Office technical skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Must be fluent in spoken and written English
  • Knowledge in Chinese (Cantonese &/or Mandarin) is an asset
