Position: Human Resources Specialist

Exo-s is on the lookout for a dedicated Human Resources Specialist to enhance our workforce management at our facility. This position will report directly to the Human Resources Director and will focus on overseeing weekly employee movements while assisting the payroll department.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Possession of a technical diploma in administration, along with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the human resources sector;
  • A collaborative team member with strong communication and listening abilities;
  • Familiarity with labor relations;
  • Dynamic, meticulous, creative, and organized;
  • Comprehensive knowledge of training processes;
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible;
  • Proficient in using computer applications (Office 365).
  • Preferred:
  • Experience in a production environment;
  • Familiarity with the HR software UKG.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee employee movements in accordance with collective bargaining agreements;
  • Assist the operations team with weekend overtime assignments;
  • Review timekeeping records for unionized staff;
  • Support payroll functions for unionized personnel;
  • Ensure adherence to training protocols and keep the skills matrix current;
  • Maintain training documentation, update skills matrices, and training manuals;
  • Engage in training committee activities and related tasks;
  • Work closely with union representatives;
  • Provide support during company social functions;
  • Refine and document HR procedures and operational guidelines.
