Job Description:

WHAT'S THE JOB?


Under the general supervision of the Director of Marketing, the Sustainability Coordinator will be responsible to collect/interpret data for all 14 business locations at McGill campus.

McGill has a goal of reaching Zero Waste status in 2035.

The coordinator will be mainly responsible for the following:

  • Assisting the Culinary Director in collecting data regarding local sourcing.
  • Collect/interpret/analyze data to create reports that demonstrate our efforts in reducing our footprint on the environment
  • Participate/coordinate educational activities for staff and guests
  • Participate in activities initiated by Dana, McGill SHHS and the McGill office of sustainability
  • Assist the Marketing Director with data to support each initiatives including the measurements of any initiatives
  • Participate in the research and creation of initiatives to achieve Zero Waste goals
  • Be an ambassador representing Dana with all certification such as MSC and Fairtrade

Qualifications:

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Postsecondary education in an associated field
  • 13 years experience in customer support and data collection
  • Proficient in MS office and basic network skills
  • Independent, self driven and analytical
  • Bilingual
