We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sustainability Advisor to join our team at Transat A.T Inc. as part of our Corporate Responsibility and ESG reporting efforts.
Key Responsibilities- Deploy Corporate Responsibility Strategy: Work in synergy with the Corporate Responsibility team to deploy the CR strategy, with emphasis on ESG reporting processes.
- Develop Processes and Policies: Develop processes, policies, and guidelines to support the strategy and the achievement of objectives.
- Monitor Sustainability Strategy: Establish benchmarks, performance indicators, and internal dashboards to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize systems, processes, and controls to meet reporting needs.
- Coordinate ESG Reporting: Coordinate the production of the CR annual report and its updates, and contribute directly to the development of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) reports for senior management and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Finance Team: Work closely with the Finance team as well as internal colleagues who contribute to the CR strategy in order to disclose the ESG information required by the various standards to which Transat complies.
- Education: Undergraduate degree in management, science, environment, sustainable development, or other equivalent program.
- Experience: Between 5 and 8 years' experience in a position related to sustainable development and/or ESG disclosure.
- Skills: Communication and writing skills, ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, self-reliant and resourceful, sense of initiative and intrapreneurship, strong interpersonal skills and inclusive leadership.
