How you will contribute as part of the TRCA team:

The Senior Coordinator, Accounting Services plays a crucial role in processing financial activities.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Monitors daily bank transactions and funding for all transaction types.
  • Performs necessary journal entries and reviews for accuracy.
  • Prepares monthly bank reconciliations for TRCA and TRCF.
  • Provides finance and accounting policy training to staff.
  • Processes Fleet Management Billings.
  • Maintains control over all POS equipment and online portals/providers.
  • Engages with internal and external stakeholders for project collaboration.
  • Provides financial information and completes balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Conducts balance sheet analysis for specific accounts.

What will you need to succeed:

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in Finance, Business Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in finance, business planning, or strategic management.
  • Advanced mathematical abilities and knowledge of financial processes.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to manage workload efficiently.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite, including advanced MS Excel skills.
