We are seeking a Summer Student to join our Cash Control team at the Main Administrative Building until August 2024. This role involves being the primary point of contact for the public, both in-person and over the phone. If you have exceptional customer service abilities, keen attention to detail, and can thrive in a fast-paced office environment, you could be the ideal addition to our workforce.
Responsibilities:
- Handling telephone and front counter inquiries
- Welcoming, screening, and guiding visitors
- Building and maintaining positive relations with customers
- Conducting cash receipting and addressing basic tax and utility account queries
- Ensuring accurate balance and preparation of bank deposits on a daily basis
- Inputting and validating financial data in the computer system
- Performing filing and other necessary administrative duties
Requirements:
- Proficiency in computer skills, specifically Office 365
- Pursuing a business, accounting/finance-related diploma or degree
- Previous Customer Service experience in an office environment dealing with customers and calls
- Experience with cash handling and data entry is advantageous
- Basic financial knowledge, including Accounts Receivable and Payable, is a plus
Additional Details:
This full-time position entails 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm starting in May until August.
Hourly Compensation: $24.47 to $28.78
