As a key contributor to our revenue growth, you'll proactively generate sales leads, initiate prospect calls, and build lasting relationships with existing customers.

Job Duties

  • Proactively initiate communication with potential clients through coldcalling, utilizing leads from external sources to identify promising opportunities.
  • Identify key decision makers within targeted leads, kickstarting the sales process and fostering relationships within our client base.
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Sales to formulate effective strategic sales approaches and tactics.
  • Generate and present qualified opportunities to the Director of Sales, ensuring comprehensive information, dates, and callstoaction are provided.
  • Expand and manage the company's prospect database, ensuring it remains uptodate and relevant.
  • Execute sales presentations, product/service demonstrations, and other essential actions to showcase our offerings.
  • Contribute to the creation of compelling responses to RFPs, showcasing our capabilities to potential clients.
  • Support marketing efforts, including participation in trade shows, exhibits, and other events, as needed.
  • Convert inbound, unsolicited prospect calls into successful sales, addressing objections and highlighting product/service features and benefits.
  • Coordinate customer service and order entry training and troubleshoot any related issues that may arise.
  • Uphold brand identity and corporate positioning in all communications with customers.
  • Handle customer service calls professionally, responding courteously to inquiries and providing support and troubleshooting services via telephone.
  • Collaborate with Customers, Production Management, and the Sales Team to ensure seamless processing of all orders.
  • Address any other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success and efficiency of our sales and customer service operations.

Requirements:

  • Possession of a university or college degree or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of handson experience in sales roles, showcasing a proven track record of successfully closing deals while consistently meeting established sales quotas.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in key sales competencies, including opportunity qualification, precall planning, call control, account development, and effective time management.
  • Track record of successfully navigating opportunities involving multiple decision makers, demonstrating adaptability and strategic thinking.
  • Indepth knowledge of wholesale sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
  • Strong problemsolving abilities with a knack for identifying issues and effectively resolving objections.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment and maintenance of enduring relationships with customers.
  • Outstanding verbal communication and presentation skills, coupled with an attentive and effective listening ability.
  • Proficient in written communication to convey information clearly and effectively.
  • Selfmotivated, exhibiting high energy levels and a contagious enthusiasm for the tasks at hand.
  • Capable of performing basic calculations and handling mathematical figures with accuracy.
  • Willingness to occasionally travel and participate in sales events or exhibits.

  • Previous experience with customer relationship management software, showcasing technological proficiency in managing customer interactions.
