Position Overview


The Coordinator and CCO Data Lead acts as a process and system support person to the Renal Program Leaders and staff.

This position functions collaboratively with all team members and provides linkages to other Health Services and Service Delivery team members.

The Coordinator and CCO Data Lead will assist with providing administrative assistance with daily coordination of renal department operations, some of the responsibilities may include but is not limited to:

the completion of payroll; ensuring adequate departmental staffing; arranging meetings; coordinating of special projects; and policy and procedure modification.

The incumbent will also participate in the on-going collection, review and reconciliation of statistical data for CCO/ORN along with other quality improvement initiatives.

The Coordinator and CCO Data Lead will uphold the principles of patient focused care, maintain effective collegial relationships and inter
- departmental partnerships, ensure a safe and comfortable environment and demonstrate courtesy in every interaction.

Education

  • High school diploma or post diploma secondary education
  • Postsecondary in office administration or equivalent is required.
  • Completed Ontario Renal Network modules or commitment to complete them within 2 months of hire.
Experience

  • Minimum 5 years' recent relevant experience in an administrative role
  • Proven abilities to develop and maintain orientation programs, work methods, service standards and guidelines.
  • Flexible, organized, ability to independently problem solve and to be selfdirected.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple concurrent activities ina demanding environment while meeting deliverable objective timelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to be responsive, professional and accurate.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies and quality monitoring required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Proven decision making, negotiating and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Previous experience in scheduling preferred.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy, proficient in MS Office is required; website management is an asset.
  • Typing speed of 50WPM required.
  • Demonstrated experience with the Hospital, ADT (Cerner PM), Cerner and scheduling systems, Teletracking, ANSOS and Tumbleweed required.
  • Expert with Plexxus SAP-SRM requisitioning and troubleshooting.
  • Expert in Ontario Renal Network data collection for data quality and reporting purposes.
  • Able to manipulate data to produce accurate, timely utilization reports and work with databases.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities and confidential data.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage confidential and sensitive issues with tact, diplomacy and with a focus on superior customer service.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning.
  • Good work and attendance record required.
