Duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Answer phone calls and operate switchboard,
  • Make, modify, or cancel room reservations,
  • Check online availability and rates,
  • Ensure PCI compliance and follow online security standards,
  • Price match online quotes,
  • Process digital credit card authorizations and payments,
  • Prepare reports,
  • Provide information on hotel facilities and services,
  • Assist guests with special requests,
  • Provide information on the town of Banff, restaurants, and Banff National Park,
  • Clerical duties,
  • And other projects as required.
  • Excels in customer service and works with mínimal supervision,
  • Has good problemsolving skills on their own but isn't afraid to ask for help,
  • Can work independently and as part of a team,
  • Can make quick decisions and is willing to make and learn from mistakes,
  • Wants to grow and develop themselves and is excited about furthering their career,
  • Possesses keen attention to detail,
  • Has proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook,
