The
Sales Consultant reports to the
Sales Manager and is responsible for helping customers obtain the financing they need to purchase the vehicle of their choice.
Finance managers not only work directly with customers interested in a car loan, but they are also responsible for completing all of the required documentation for each financing transaction.
Responsibilities:
- Understanding the features and benefits of all vehicles that are available for purchase while being able to effectively communicate this information to our customers.
- Converting showroom visitors into customers by understanding their needs and interests and matching them to the most appropriate car.
- Taking customers on test drives and demonstrating vehicle features.
- Building a rapport with potential customers to improve the possibility of a sale in the future.
- Collaborating with team members to reach sales targets.
- Assisting customers with completing the relevant paperwork required for a successful sale to be processed.
- Maintaining accurate records, including sales reports, expense reimbursement forms, billing invoices, and other documentation.
- Building and maintaining ongoing awareness of new products and services, competitor activities, and research.
- Using customer relation management (CRM) software tools to maximize sales efficiency and effectiveness.
- Building and fostering a network of referrals to create new opportunities for revenue growth.
- Generating and developing new customer accounts.
- Maintaining professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Your High School Diploma, G.E.D or equivalent
- A Valid Driver's License with a Clean Drivers Abstract
- A Valid VSA License or the ability to obtain one.
- The ability to work in a team environment or independently.
