We are looking for Tax
Associates to join our team and assist our clients with their tax planning and needs.

Our client is a rapidly growing group of tax franchises that is expanding their services. They had started with 4 locations and have quickly grown to 11 locations.

Their goal is to expand to 100 offices in the next 3 years and be on a one stop shop for financial services.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Preparing and compiling, reviewing and auditing working paper files
  • Preparing personal and corporate tax returns for review by management and partners.
  • Preparing various documents, reports including T4/t% slips and summaries
  • Complete bookkeeping for clients, including the processing of transactions from sources documents and performing account reconciliations.
  • Liaise and correspond professionally with clients, colleagues and the firm leadership team

Skills And Qualifications

Must have:

  • Currently enrolled in an Accounting and/or related program
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Works well both independently and in a team
  • Ability to quickly learn new software & processes
  • Ability to focus on client service and adapt to everchanging client needs
  • Prior experience with audits and tax is preferred, though not required
  • Experience with tax and accounting software programs (QuickBooks) is a definite asset
