The Role
As an Account Executive you will have the opportunity to communicate the value of Seequent solutions to our customers. Focusing within the geosciences practice, specifically the Mining sector, you match our solutions to our customer's needs.

You will focus on a select set of strategic accounts that require global coordination of solution selling across the value chain, and to several key stakeholder groups.

You will be someone that enjoys relationship building, business analysis, tracking, and have a passion for generating customer loyalty.


You will be responsible for driving new business opportunities while broadening the portfolio, growing users, and building a connected environment for the customer.

The goal of this role is to enable the region to meet its strategic objective of predictable, sustainable, long-term sales growth.

Seequent offers a range of software solutions for a variety of geoscience specialties and by using the sales enablement tools provided, the role is equipped with knowledge for matching the right value proposition to the customers' needs.

Success comes from being a problem solver who really cares about our customers, team collaboration and cloud-based solutions. Market knowledge of the mining and minerals sector is an asset.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid work arrangement.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

_ Account Management_

  • Develop and maintain account plans and CRM updates to capture a 360 view of the your accounts
  • Stay abreast of all activity associated with your assigned accounts and actively monitor customer usage and satisfaction levels and work to improve outcomes and perceptions
  • Present your strategy to drive new, valueadded solutions by connecting within those accounts at the user level up to the Csuite
  • Work with the Regional Director
  • ECE to ensure the sales activities lead to the achievement of company growth and profitability within your selected accounts
  • Develop a high level of knowledge of the value proposition of all Seequent products and combined solutions
  • Seek the best type of license entitlement that suits the distribution of the users in that account and enables the highest number of users to gain access across the portfolio of solutions

Pipeline & Lead Generation_**- Understand and quantify potential opportunities associated with your accounts

  • Ensure that all opportunities are well documented are identified in the CRM for forecasting
  • Collaborate with the entire Sales Team, Technical Team and Marketing to accurately assess all opportunities in the pipeline and prioritize appropriately
  • Assist the NAM sales team to increase the quality and the number of leads across the portfolio

In order to be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Minimum 3 years Sales experience at Executive and key account level
  • University degree in business related studies or earth science
  • Experience in software sales, both desktop and cloud
  • Experience in relationship management software, Salesforce preferably
  • Able to clearly communicate with stakeholders to achieve a conclusion
  • Innovative, open and able to work in a fast growing, fast paced environment
  • Ability to work well with other team members and to provide inspiration, support and assistance

Not required, but a a bonus if you have:

  • Market knowledge of the mining and minerals sector
