Must hold a valid Building Environmental Systems (BES) Operator Class I certification or equivalent.
Trade school training preferred in one or more of the following:
electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and refrigeration systems, process controls, stationary engineering, painting, plumbing, locksmith, and carpentry. 4th Class Power Engineer designation is an asset. Must hold a valid Ontario driver's license in good standing. applicants will be required to provide a recent driver's record.
Experience:
Minimum of five years of recent and directly related experience in maintaining large institutional buildings. Experience in an institutional or post-secondary environment is required. Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (such as Maximo) is required. Experience with building automation systems, building lighting systems, and other automation systems is preferred.
