Are you a budding chef looking to develop your skills in an upscale property? Join Hotel Grand Pacific Located on Victoria's beautiful inner harbour, we're looking for an additional Third Cook to support our Banquets team with preparing dishes for a variety of functions hosted at the Hotel.


From weddings with plated dinners to large conferences with buffet lunches, Hotel Grand Pacific is a popular choice for businesses and individuals looking to host an event.


A full-time position, this is a great opportunity for someone with 2 years of culinary experience who is looking to join a professional, structured environment and receive hands-on mentoring from Executive Chef Peter Kim and his talented team.


What We're Looking For:

  • 2 years of culinary experience, with a focus on preparing dishes for banquet functions
  • Food Safe certificate
  • Available for fulltime hours and to work mornings or evenings when required
  • Proven ability to follow instructions quickly and efficiently
  • Keeps up to date with recipes, portions and presentation specs
  • Great team player who can take initiative
  • Excellent attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Accountable with a high level of integrity and professionalism
