Support Specialist - Billing and Account Receivable Support – Home Health and Hospice (HH)

** Remote Position | Home Health or Hospice Experience Required **

Working hours: 9 AM-6 PM Eastern or 10 AM-7 PM Eastern

The Role

As a Billing Support Specialist, you'll be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing world-class support for our Home Health and Hospice solutions. You'll need:

  • Strong personal skills and knowledge of the home health and hospice industry .
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex customer billing and accounts receivable issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills .
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills .
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Answer billing and accounts receivable-related questions in a friendly, effective, and efficient manner .
  • Diagnos e and resolv e basic and complex customer billing and accounts receivable questions or problems via phone, email, chat, or self-service platform.
  • Interact with customers to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues that may not have standard documented solutions .
  • Document new issues , FAQs, and resolutions for a robust knowledge base .
  • Track and document inbound support requests and ensure proper notation of customer problems and issues.
  • Stay abreast of current technology in products, design changes, and new product offerings .
  • Identify critical issues that may impact all clients .

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, healthcare technology or a relevant field strongly preferred
  • Home health or hospice billing and accounts receivable experience is required
  • Must have strong Desktop and Internet skills
  • Must have demonstrated experience solving billing and accounts receivable problems on an innovative home health & hospice software product
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills with the proven ability to resolve challenging issues in a timely manner
  • Home Health and/or Hospice billing and accounts receivable with MatrixCare is preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered

  • You have home health or hospice billing and accounts receivable experience (required).

Salary and Benefits

  • Competitive salary: $ 22 -$ 31 /hour (dependent on experience and location)
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, vision, dental, life, AD&D, short-term and long-term disability insurance.
