SUMMARY
Must adhere to the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission (AGLC) Casino Terms and Conditions; as well as other applicable municipal, provincial and federal laws and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrated knowledge of casino operations, gaming rules and regulations. Demonstrated experience receiving, securing, handling, counting and reconciling, and distributing large sums of money. Within 90 days, demonstrated working knowledge of the game of Black Jack, and dexterity with Black Jack playing cards. Demonstrated effective and diplomatic customer service and communication skills, which includes contacts with Team Members and Customers.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Graduation from gaming training school or equivalent is desired. One (1) or more years of recent and related gaming experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have a valid and current Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission Gaming License. Must maintain a current AGLC Deal Us In Phase 1, AGLC AML Training and must be familiar with FINTRAC. Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Essential duties involve performing physical exertion: dexterity with cards and chips, brisk walking, climbing stairs, stooping, bending, stretching, reaching, pushing and standing for an entire work shift with standard breaks.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Essential duties involve working with large numbers of people while in an inside environment, which is frequently loud or containing high noise levels.
MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED
Various gaming related equipment including money chips, playing cards and automatic shuffle machines.
