Position Summary
IDL is currently accepting resumes for Experienced
Traffic Control Persons to join our Terrace construction team.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the safe flow of public and construction traffic when required, and ensure the safety & security of public and site crew, while complying with company safety policies
  • Execute traffic control plans by placing, removing, covering and uncovering traffic control signs, cones, barricades and other traffic control devices.
  • Signal operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment and movement of materials
  • Provide motorists with simple directions, explaining hazards
  • Other General Labor and constructionrelated duties as required

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year experience in traffic control
  • Minimum of two years experience in construction
  • BCCSA Traffic Ticket certification
  • Ability to interact with the public, supervisors, and coworkers professionally at all times
  • Ability to think clearly no matter the stress or difficulty of your circumstances
  • Possess a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
  • Desire to learn and commit to working safely and complying with company health and safety policies
