About the team:


The TikTok Monetization Legal Team provides key support for all of TikTok's monetization initiatives, ad products, and integrated platforms servicing our revenue-generating businesses.

Our legal team is growing fast and is seeking highly experienced, bright, and capable legal professionals to join us.

Responsibilities:

The following describes the responsibilities and requirements for the role.

  • Serve as a dedicated legal advisor for the Ad Sales team.
  • Lead the drafting, negotiation, and management of a range of ad sales transactions, including advertising agreements, insertion orders, sales partnership agreements, campaign agreements, and other commercial agreements related to the company's ad sales business.
  • Build trust and drive strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with a range of crossfunctional teams to drive strategic initiatives supporting the ad sales business goals.
  • Build and develop, workflows, templates, trainings, process improvements, and internal and external facing policies.
  • Assist with general transactions and other commercial legal matters as needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree plus a Juris Doctorate from a toptier accredited U.S. or Canadian law school.
  • Active membership in at least one provincial bar and holding a license or the ability to be licensed in New York, California, Washington, or Texas.
  • 2+ years of postqualification experience, with digital advertising industry experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of commercial and technology relevant laws and policies.
  • Highly organized and able to navigate a fastpaced environment and be highly responsive to deadlineoriented clients.
  • Must be a pragmatic, businessoriented problem solver who is driven to do better than the status quo.
