Purpose:

Responsible for of the management and daily follow-up of individual and groups booked within the sales department of Novotel, Ottawa, as well as reservation and signature calls.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Banquet and Business Groups, Indivdual Bookings
  • Optimizing the use of OPERA;
  • Looking after room reservations and other services with respect to what was agreed upon with the client;
  • Ensuring that essential information is relayed correctly and in a timely manner in executing the services to the groups;
  • Ensuring the followup of the groups (rooming lists, payment, attrition, etc.);
  • Ensuring the established sales conditions are applied and respected;
  • Assisting the sales department in obtaining the quotas and sales goals;
  • Ensuring customer satisfation by always offering great service;
  • Managing and followingup room blocks;
  • Following up on reservations procedures and signature calls
  • All other related tasks
  • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Must embrace constant changes, handle stressful situations, remain composed when facing client confrontation.
  • Person who completes the sales team and the sales cycle
  • Miniumm 2 year experience in a similar position
  • Excellent organizationnal skills and detail oriented;
  • Passionate, Positive attitude, determination, team spirit, available and not afraid to take initiatives
  • English essential. French is an asset.
  • Studies in Hotel Management ( a plus )
