Position Overview:

Be a part of a growing sales team that is driven towards providing the utmost customer service. We are seeking an Inside Sales Rep who is an integral part of servicing our customers. This position largely contributes to ensuring that customer needs are proactively fulfilled.

The Inside Sales Rep is engaged with the sales team and management to optimally manage and grow the customer account base.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Contacting current customers and identifying new products and potential upselling.
  • Responding to and processing incoming calls and orders.
  • Opening new accounts.
  • Developing customer base and sales leads by making cold and warm calls.
  • Entering orders into the system.
  • Maintaining a knowledge base on current products and learning about new products.
  • Providing pricing quotations and followup on quotes.
  • Credits/Debits.
  • Returns as required.
  • Providing technical support on products.
  • Provide quotations and product information.
  • Troubleshooting [freight problems, expediting, etc ].
  • Responding to inquiries.
  • Identify, develop, and close business opportunities

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 34 years of sales experience.
  • A
    background in selling industrial and commercial products is an asset. Product knowledge or industry experience is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of solution selling vs. price.
  • The role includes a strong understanding of sales margins, product sourcing, pricing, and negotiations.
  • Strong business acumen and professional approach to offering effective services and solutions.
  • High School Diploma required,
    University degree preferred.
  • Post-Secondary courses in Sales and/or Marketing are preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office is
    required
