Status: Full-Time (5 days/week)

This is an exciting job opportunity for a dynamic, energetic, and enthusiastic professional looking to take the next step in their career. In this position, the successful candidate will work with established Concha y Toro brands plus Fetzer and Bonterra brands. More brands will follow that will augment the portfolio.

Reporting to the Alberta Sales Manager, the sales representative will have responsibility for the implementation of the territorial sales plan and corresponding sales strategies (maximize market share, ensure volume, distribution, coverage, promotion, merchandising are effectively implemented) building strong relationships with key decision-makers to support Escalade sales and marketing strategies, maximize sales volume, net profit, and product distribution within this territory.

The successful candidate must have a great deal of self-discipline, set high standards for themselves, be competitive, and be a great team player. Experience in beverage alcohol sales, or packaged goods, or the hospitality industry as well as fundamental wine and spirits (WSET 2) knowledge is an asset.

Additional responsibilities include organizing and creating displays, tastings, and account support functions. In addition, attendance at trade events (evenings and weekends) may be required.

Potential candidates must have a passion for wine and spirits, hold a valid passport, a driver's license and their own vehicle for business-related travel. Candidates with College or University schooling are also preferred. Other skills that are important to this position are:

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • A persuasive and energetic personality
  • Ability to analyze statistics and strong computer skills
  • Proven Experience in a sales capacity in the Edmonton area
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and other relevant software.
  • Able to set and execute high standards of performance.
  • Availability for evening and weekend work for tastings, events, and trade shows

This position comes with a base salary commensurate with experience, an annual bonus, a car allowance, and group benefits. Business-related expenses are also covered.
