Manager, Community Resources, Fdrp and Youth

The Manager, Community Resources, Family Development Response Program and Youth Services is responsible for providing direction to staff in the delivery of service programs.
The Manager will deal with challenging and complex cases to ensure that a high level of professional quality client service is provided to the public.
What you'll do
Community Resources
Family Development Response Program
Provide departmental oversight, liaise with funders, form part of the PQI committee and build strategic alliances and collaborative arrangements to advance the objectives of the program.
Work with Program Coordinator to ensure FDRP-YS program, activities and staff conform to contract and CARF standards.Youth Services
Ensure that Youth Workers engage youth through a positive, asset-based view of their development, treating all youth as having strengths and potential.
MCSS Youth Services feature outreach for sexually exploited and drug-addicted youth, transitional housing support, conflict management, youth justice consultation, and community hours support.
What you bring
- Master's degree in social services or related field or a combination of education and experience, plus minimum 2 years leading a diverse team of individuals in both unionized and nonunionized environments or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity with government procedures, policies, and regulations relevant to the programs and services offered. This includes understanding funding mechanisms, reporting requirements, and compliance standards.
- Proven interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of the issues and barriers in the notforprofit sector
- Successful completion of a criminal record check is required.
- Provide a copy of all relevant degrees and certifications related to this role.
- Certification in First Aid and MANDT or Non-Violent Crisis Intervention
- Valid B.C. Driver's License and a reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance
- Ability to understand and maintain clientele/worker boundaries.
- Confidentiality as per Agency, professional association, and legislative requirements
- This position is open to all applicants and is exempt from the union._
