What you will be doing:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of catering events, including weddings, corporate functions, and special occasions
  • Supervise and assist in training of catering team members
  • Schedule and lead the catering team during events to ensure exceptional service delivery
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients and ensure events exceed expectations
  • Assist in budgeting and cost control measures
  • Monitor inventory levels of catering supplies, equipment, and food items
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation standards

What you bring:

  • Minimum 3 years previous experience in catering or hospitality management
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role
  • Strong leadership, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must possess proficiency in time management, problemsolving and financial management skills, including budgeting and cost control
  • Knowledge of inventory management and procurement processes
  • ProServe Certification
  • Food safety certifications such as ServSafe or equivalent
  • Class 5 Drivers License

You will be:

  • Walking and standing for extended periods of time
  • Pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying up to 50lbs
  • Fully mobile and able to work in a physical environment
  • Available to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends and holidays when necessary
