We diligently serve market store and warehouse store chains with our cold-chain DSD services.

Job responsibilities:

  • Supervise daytoday manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and deadlines.
  • Monitor workflow and adjust resources to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure processes run smoothly and improve production effectiveness.
  • Plan worker lunch breaks, changeovers, and shift changes
  • Implement and enforce quality control measures to guarantee the products' highest quality.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any deviations from quality standards.
  • Collaborate with quality control and lead hands to improve production processes continuously.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience with a focus on leading by example.
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor production team members fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the skills of the production team.
  • Manage discipline according to company policies and the collective agreement.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures at the facility.
  • Investigate and report any accidents or incidents, implementing corrective actions.
  • Manage and optimize the utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
  • Coordinate with the Production Manager to assess resource needs and plan for future production requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings in the production department.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles and other best practices to enhance overall efficiency.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in production supervision within a food manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices. (GMP/HACCP)
  • Ability to analyze data and make datadriven decisions.
  • Excellent organizational and problemsolving abilities.

Pay:
$19.00-$25.00 per hour
