Logistics Coordinator Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to oversee the operational logistics for our supply-chain departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics for supply-chain departments
  • Consult with production supervisor to schedule production runs in a cost and time-efficient manner
  • Coordinate activities with warehouse and production units, as well as other work units or departments to monitor production progress
  • Organize and maintain inventory, maintain records on inventory control system, and monitor movement of supplies and materials between departments
  • Prepare and maintain progress reports, record production information, and complete reports
  • Establish and monitor progress of logistics and delivery schedules

Requirements:

  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years in Business/Commerce, General, or Logistics, Materials and Supply Chain Management
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
