Security Supervisor

Mount Alverno Resort and Retreat is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, staff, and property.
Key Responsibilities:- Schedule Work: Plan and coordinate the work schedules of security personnel to ensure adequate coverage and effective use of resources.
- Maintenance and Repair: Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be performed on security equipment and facilities.
- Emergency Response: Be the point of contact for emergency situations and coordinate responses with other departments as needed.
- Team Coordination: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Quality Monitoring: Monitor quality and production levels to ensure they meet our high standards.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit progress and other reports as required.
- Supply Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Problem-Solving: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise, co-ordinate, and schedule activities of security personnel.
- Training: Train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Work Scheduling: Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
- Certifications: CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and Security Guard License.
- Work Environment: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
- Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, judgement, organized, reliability, and team player.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
