What you'll be doing:
Provide administrative support for a variety of P & C processes including updating employee records, processing employee change forms, tuition reimbursement, grievances, etc. Greet and re-direct visitors to the People & Culture office Monitor P & C general email inbox and respond to questions or redirect in a timely manner Create and maintain P & C employee files and sort/file department records and documents ( legal invoices, other) Maintain and order supplies, schedule/coordinate meetings, process invoices Work collaboratively within the P & C team, providing support to the Sr. HR Consultants and DirectorWhat we're looking for:
Undergraduate degree completed or in progress, completed course work in Human Resources would be an asset but is not required Previous experience in an administrative/coordinator role would be an asset Excellent computer skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook; comfortable learning new applications Strong attention to detail and organizational skills coupled with the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines Exceptional customer service skills and work ethic Strong interpersonal and communication (oral, written, listening) skills Knowledge of Canadian employment legislation and/or CHRP in progress would be an asset but is not requiredAs part of our commitment to the health and safety of our patients, staff and community from COVID-19, subject to any accommodation required by applicable human rights legislation, Homewood Health Centre requires that all staff have received all required doses of a COVID-19 vaccine approved by Health Canada.
