Job Overview

The Lead Technician role is ideally suited for individuals seeking summer employment who enjoy interacting with customers, delivering excellent service, working outdoors, and enhancing their sales and service skills.

This position is vital to our operations at Grill Hero. As a Lead Technician, you will gain comprehensive knowledge of the barbecue industry by providing our cleaning services, enhancing the customer experience, managing your own supplies and equipment, and much more.

Lead Technicians have the potential to progress into Management, Regional Management, and Office roles, which come with increased responsibilities and pay.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cleaning barbecues at both commercial and residential locations
  • Ensuring an outstanding customer experience
  • Promoting products and additional services
  • Scheduling future appointments
  • Organizing and maintaining company supplies and equipment
  • Representing the company in the field
  • Additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • Ability to perform physical tasks and operate light machinery
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Capable of following verbal and written instructions
  • Strong attention to detail

Compensation

  • Starting at $18 + Tips + Incentives (Most earn $20-$25/hr)
  • Performance bonuses and incentives

  • Reimbursement for mileage incurred during operations in addition to hourly pay
