- Provide patient care and transportation by ambulance in pre-hospital emergency situations, prioritizing critical thinking and safe work practices.
- Advocate for patients by effectively communicating with colleagues, allied health care professionals, and public safety partners.
- Ensure the safe operation of ambulances.
- Identify and address complex program or system-wide issues to improve service delivery and patient care.
What you bring:
- Current ACP license to practice in British Columbia (issued by EMALB).
- Class 1, 2, or 4 BC driver's license (or equivalent from another province); with a clean driving record.
- Valid work permit for Canada or the ability to obtain one.
- Strong mental resilience and maturity to thrive in a dynamic environment.
