Blossom Birth Program is looking for a valuable member for the administrative/ clinic management role.

Some training will be provided and there is an extensive MOA handbook written with all the job's responsibilities and daily task routine.


Salary:
$23-26/hour, based on experience

Monday-Friday, 9:00AM-5:00 PM

Work and written language:
English, ability to speak Cantonese or Mandarin is an asset but not required

  • Has a background in healthcare (nursing, pharmacy, etc.) or is planning to become a health care professional (would consider a 1 year contract)
  • Has an understanding of the Canadian Healthcare and Hospital System, and the Maternity Care Pathway
  • Has attention to detail, organizational skills, a professional demeanor and caring attitude (required)
  • Has the ability to formulate independent thought processes and superior time management skills/multitasking (can work proactively without guidance yet also be a team player) (required)
  • Has previous office experience (a minimum of 1 year is preferred but not required)
  • Can work in a fastpaced and constantly changing environment

Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and welcoming clients into the clinic
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments
  • Filing and sending urgent faxes (bring urgent/stat faxes to the providers' attention)
  • Maintaining confidential medical records on Accuro EMR
  • Performing general office/clinic work such as ordering supplies and organization
  • Exam room setup and cleaning
  • Patient registration
  • Scanning and electronic filing
