What you'll do:

  • Assist with Jumpstart events in planning and execution of events
  • Development of key planning documents (timelines, budgets, plans etc.), helping execute events onsite, and working cross functionally across the organization.
  • Support the development of key event materials including SOWs, budgets, plans, etc.
  • Working on projects from start to finish (from research and ideation stage, to planning, to execution of events, to postevent reflection)

What you bring:

  • Currently enrolled in a postsecondary program in Business, Marketing, Event Management or other related discipline
  • Exceptional communication skills with the confidence and passion to share knowledge
  • Goal driven individual to seek out continuous improvement opportunities
  • The ability to take a collaborate approach to build strong relationships and have positive team experiences
  • Flexible and dynamic individual who is able to adjust and prioritize accordingly to adapt to business demands and requirements
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Background in sport & recreation is an asset
  • Bilingualism an asset
