What you'll do

The Merchandising Capability Development team is a center of excellence responsible for collaboratively enhancing merchandising capabilities. We are looking for an Associate Manager to work closely with stakeholders from various departments, addressing challenges and implementing solutions to improve our work processes and tools. The Associate Manager will be instrumental in redesigning and implementing core merchandising processes and tools across all CTC banners, enhancing efficiency, consistency, and quality.

  • Manage a workstream or key deliverable within the project plan, including scheduling, resource requirements, and risk management
  • Provide guidance to the team and support the development of project analysts
  • Conduct interviews with business stakeholders to analyze current practices
  • Facilitate workshops to identify process and tool improvements, create presentations, and present findings
  • Compile insights from workshops into actionable recommendations for future processes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate proposed processes and tools for organizational impact
  • Participate in developing user stories and acceptance criteria for IT solutions
  • Create implementation timelines, identify risks, and develop mitigation plans
  • Support Change Management by providing insight into future state processes
  • Assist in business testing of new systems and resolving gaps
  • Support the implementation of recommendations and provide post-rollout assistance
What you bring
  • 2-4 years of experience in Merchandising, Supply Chain, or related functions
  • Experience in project management in an Agile environment
  • Knowledge of process and tool development
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and suggest improvements
  • Committed to delivering results and collaborating proactively
