THE DETAILS:
You'll be joining our Centre de liquidation EQ3 Laval team at 1828 Boul.

12-month term capacity:

  • You'll be taking on a highresponsibility leadership role that oversees several areas of store operations, from maintaining a visually inspiring storefront to managing the store's inventory and budget
  • You'll manage the store's schedule and payroll
  • Collaborating with the Assistant Manager, you'll develop and execute strategic plans to meet customer needs and drive business. You'll be responsible for overseeing these plans and measuring them up against the team's performance
  • As manager, employees will look to you for guidance. It's your job to create a positive work atmosphere, boost employee morale, and make sure that every employee understands performance expectations
  • You'll be responsible for recruiting & hiring all employees, coordinating new hire orientations, holding strategic meetings, and conducting performance reviews for each employee

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • A minimum three (3) years of retail management experience is preferred. A combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Postsecondary education in Business Administration, Design, or Retail Management would be a bonus
  • Proficiency in retail operations and systems (Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and STORIS)
  • A creative management style with excellent organizational and communication skills. You should be comfortable motivating, coaching, listening to, and managing a retail large team
  • Experience with multiproject delivery of sales planning, customer service, budgeting, financial analysis, and management
  • Familiarity with industry trends, market competition, and customer needs in a retail furniture environment. Knowledge of home accessories or fashion industry would be an asset
