We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced
Lobby/Office Receptionist to come grow with our team in
Ottawa, ON This full-time position is ideal for someone with 2+ years of relevant experience looking for a stable place to work, learn, and develop.

Schedule:
Typically Monday - Friday, _
8:00 am - 5:00 pm_
What you will be doing:
- Demonstrating flexibility in satisfying customer demands in a high volume, production environment
- Consistently adhering to business practice guidelines and policies
- Taking direction from supervisor or site manager
- Participating in crosstraining
- Maintaining all logs and reporting documentation with attention to detail
- Adhering to all safety procedures
What we need from you:
- At least 2 years of proven work experience in customer service, front office representative, or similar role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to effectively work individually or within a team in a fastpaced environment.
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Competency in performing multiple functional tasks.
- Ability to meet employer's attendance policy.
- Willingness to crosstraining for other job functions.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. or maximum allowed by current State Law with or without accommodations
- The ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
- Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately.
- Ensure all visitors into the office possess a badge i.e. employee, temporary or guest badge
- Notifies employees or contractors of visitor arrival.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
- Provide special project and administrative support on an ad hoc basis.
- Effectively addressing and resolving client and customer concerns and/or complaints.
- Responsible for submitting cases through the company's online case management system for all maintenance or janitorial issues regarding the lobby as well as following up as needed to ensure timely completion.
- Data entry & word processing using Microsoft Suite.
- Keeping statistical data on services provided.
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and materials
- Processing of incoming and outgoing mail and packages
