(Gabe), a Canadian clothing manufacturer and premium blanks supplier is currently looking for a Social Media Coordinator for our Toronto office.

You will be responsible for coordinating and executing all aspects of Gabe's Social Media including Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, Facebook, and Twitter, as well as managing E-mail lists and Newsletters.

This job requires both management and creative skills. This job requires you to be comfortable on camera.

Rate:

$19/hour

Job Description / Responsibilities:

1) Social Media - For the purposes of this description, Social Media is defined as Instagram, Tiktok, Reddit, Facebook, and Twitter

  • Come up with ideas for standalone posts for social media channels
  • Research current trends and audience preferences
  • Generate photo and video content for social media channels
  • Generate ideas and organize plans for photoshoots
  • Schedule and organize release and posting of posts to social media channels (35 grid posts per week, 23 reels/tiktoks per day)
  • Write the text of the social posts
  • Communicate with followers and respond to inquires
  • Link posts to partner channels
  • Collect and codify data on the number of followers, views, likes, and shares of social posts
  • Generate ideas for the featured mailer for new products releases and/or do a marketing push of specific product, topic, or information
  • Write necessary Heading, Sub-Heading, and Text for selected newsletter content
  • Create the layout for newsletters
  • Edit newsletters for clarity, content, and flow
  • Send out newsletters via Shopify and social media channels

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 20 per week

Salary:
From $19.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • North York, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
