Duties:

  • Oversee transportation management activities, including dispatching and routing of vehicles.
  • Coordinate and monitor shipping and receiving operations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry of transportationrelated information into the system.
  • Manage fleet operations, including maintenance and repairs.
  • Utilize transportation management systems such as SyteLine, Oracle Transportation Management, and AS400.
  • Communicate with drivers, customers, and thirdparty logistics providers (3PL) to ensure efficient operations.
  • Monitor and optimize delivery schedules to meet customer requirements.
  • Resolve any issues or delays in transportation operations.
  • Maintain records and generate reports on transportation activities.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in transportation management or dispatching is required.
  • Proficiency in using transportation management systems such as SyteLine, Oracle Transportation Management, and AS400.
  • Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
  • Familiarity with fleet management practices.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with drivers, customers, and 3PL providers.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Proficiency in using phone systems for communication.
Please note that the specific software mentioned (SyteLine, Oracle Transportation Management, AS400) may vary depending on the company's systems.

  • 12 hour shift
  • Every Weekend
