HR ASSISTANT, a role we rely upon to support the daily operations of the HR/Payroll team.

This role reports to the HR Manager and is integral to the success of our HR team.

In this role you will be:

  • Providing support on all HR related projects, such as, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Wellness, Recognition, Training & Development, etc.
  • Acting as a communication team player on various HR projects.
  • Maintaining accurate and uptodate human resources files, records and documentation.
  • Keeping HR databases populated and uptodate.
  • Assisting with recruiting process by creating postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews and performing reference checks.
  • Preparing various HR documentation including transfer letters, employment verification letters etc.
  • Ensuring appropriate delegation, followup and resolution of inquiries and requests for information received by the HR team.
  • Ensuring the team has all necessary documents in advance for all meetings and presentations.
  • May assist with payroll functions.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Takes pride in keeping everything organized.
  • Is able to avoid errors and omissions; strong attention to detail.
  • Can juggle numerous tasks and complete them on time with little rework.
  • Can always communicate respectfully and professionally.
  • Has 13 years HR/office experience.
  • Has a university degree or college diploma in Human Resources.

We would love it if you had (Ideal, but not a must):

  • Payroll experience.
  • Bilingual (French and English) languages.
