Your Role As the Sea Logistics Customer Care Specialist, you are responsible for ensuring that our customers have a positive experience each time they engage with Kuehne+Nagel. Your team is responsible for direct interaction with our customers, proactive customer service, problem solving, customer follow up, interaction with our sales colleagues and equally as important, ensuring that our Operational Care Centers have all the necessary information, including systematic information, to be able to execute on our customer behalf. You will report to the Sea Logistics Customer Care Manager Your Responsibilities
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction by being advisor and consultative Customer service representative
  • Entering customer orders into operational process
  • Complaint management
  • Support customer development and maintenance
  • Close cooperation with branch and area management and Sea Logistics operations for an enhanced customer experience
  • Ensure profit maximization by avoiding additional costs and expenses due to internal service failure
  • Be a advisor on financial excellence and development
  • Oversee quotation management by qualifying the customer inquiries, provide Kuehne+Nagel quotations and updates, set final selling price with individual adjustments within the given price band and following the national leeway in decision-making

Your Skills and Experiences
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or similar field
  • 3+ years of Sea Logistics Imports and Freight Forwarding experience
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Advanced computer skills, including full proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel)

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
