Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at SEA MAR Community Health Centers. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient exams, procedures, and administrative tasks
  • Conduct thorough EHR reviews, track, and document patient clinical measures and outcomes
  • Coordinate and process patient referrals, both internal and external
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to provide high-quality patient care and outcomes
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information and care provided
  • Prepare exam and procedure rooms, stock supplies, and maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Administer medications, injections, and other treatments as ordered by providers
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the healthcare team
Requirements
  • Washington State Medical Assistant Certificate
  • Minimum one year of experience as a Medical Assistant in Family Medicine
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
