Overview:
Our client in Ottawa, ON seeks a Business Analyst for a 12-month contract (possible extension up to another 12 months). The role offers a mix of remote and onsite work flexibility, while necessitating proximity to Ottawa for occasional meetings.
What you will be doing:
- Acting as the main subject matter expert for the assigned SIS module, ensuring a comprehensive understanding to fulfill responsibilities and support business areas.
- Evaluating business processes, identifying areas for enhancement, and implementing effective solutions.
- Participating in workshops, developing process maps, and supporting various activities.
- Leading assessments of business processes and creating future state process maps.
- Collaborating with team members on documentation and communication of insights.
- Gathering essential information from stakeholder meetings and generating valuable reports.
- Validating solutions align with business needs.
What you must have:
- Minimum of 10 years' business analyst experience.
- Minimum 3-year post-secondary diploma or equivalent.
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking capabilities.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, cloud solutions, and transformative projects.
- Expertise with Thesis Student Management is a plus.
- Ability to engage stakeholders and devise viable solutions collaboratively.
- Competency in Microsoft applications and hands-on process flow development.
- Knowledge of data modeling, change management, and Agile methodology.
- Excellent communication skills and experience in a post-secondary setting.
- Experience with MS Project, Salesforce, and PM is advantageous.
